Ingredients
8-10 Bombay Ducks (cleaned and drained)
- 1 tbsp chilly powder
- 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 Small Sized thinly sliced potato
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Salt to Taste
- 2-3 Green Chilies
- 3-4 smashed Garlic flakes
Method
- Marinate the Bombay Ducks and potato with chilly powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, finely chopped green chilies and salt. Keep aside for ½ an hour.
- Heat oil in a vessel. Add smashed garlic flakes and shallow fry till they turn slightly brown.
- Now add the marinated Bombay Ducks and simmer for a while.
- Add the thinly sliced potato.
- Cover the vessel and allow the ingredients to cook in its own water.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot.
