Ingredients
pudina leaves - 2 cups
- green chilies - 4
- coconut - 2 tsp
- ginger - 2 small pieces
- lemon juice - 2 tbsp
- oil - 3 tbsp
- shallots - 3
- salt to taste
Method
- Wash pudina leaves and drain the water.
- In a kadai, add a half teaspoon of oil and fry onion, ginger, coconut and pudina leaves until it shrinks and well fried.
- Put in a blender, add the above mixture and green chilles, lemon juice and salt grind them to a soft paste.
- If paste is very thick u can add some water.
- Serve with hot rice.
Note: Instead of tamarind juice, u can add lemon juice whereever possible. Tamarind juice is not good for health,but lemon which is good for health. Add little bit of coconut, execissive use of coconut is not good for health.
