Macaroni Cheese


  • Macaroni Cheese1 cup macaroni (boiled and drained)
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 2 spring onions chopped (along with the stalks)
  • 2 1/2  tbs flour
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 4 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 cup baby corn (chopped and fried lightly in butter)
  • 1 tbs coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 1 cube cheese (grated)
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Heat butter in a pan.
  2. Add the onions and fry for a few seconds. 
  3. Add the flour and fry for two minutes. 
  4. Add milk and stir, to form a smooth white sauce. 
  5. Add baby corn, macaroni, cheese, oregano and coriander.
  6. Mix well for a couple of minutes. 
  7. Then put into a greased baking dish and bake for 10 minutes at 180 C, till it begins to brown.
  8. Serve hot.
